FedGIS and DevSummit Conferences next week

HorizonWave director Bob Lytle will be attending the ESRI FedGIS conference next week at the DC Convention Center to hear presentations about the use of geospatial visualizations used within federal sector applications. As the developer of the mapping capability for the DoD logistics program he currently supports, Mr. Lytle integrated both the Google Earth thick client and the Google Earth browser plugin into an authenticated, web-based application. With Google's announcement that their browser plugin is being deprecated, a solution like ESRI's ARCGIS JavaScript APIs could be a viable alternative for browser-only mapping capability.  ESRI will follow the FedGIS conference with a developers summit consisting of workshops and presentations to introduce hands-on implementations using their various product offerings.
